A general guide for clients on what to expect from the coaching process

Awareness

You, the client, decide you want change, you feel stuck and would like guidance as to how to move forward or you need a new approach or strategy. These are just some areas clients come to me looking for guidance. The client explores whether coaching is the right fit. This often includes a consultation call to clarify what the client wants to achieve from coaching. Here is my calendar where you can book a free 30 minute call with me.

Consultation call

During the consultation call I will give my professional opinion on how many sessions I believe the client needs. This can be reviewed at any time and may decrease or increase depending on client needs.

Clarity

Working together as coach and client, we define what you want to achieve. At Be You Coaching I work with my clients to put their foundations in place and to ensure they have a strong base to work from. This includes clarifying core values, and exploring how the client views themselves, their achievements, skills and strengths. Putting these foundations in place is an empowering process for the client. We get clear on desired outcomes, and specific goals and this creates our roadmap for the work ahead.

Transformation

During our sessions the client will gain insights and I will ask them to challenge any limiting beliefs. If needed, we will work together to build habits that empower rather than disempower, and develop strategies to create meaningful, lasting change.

Implementation & Accountability

The client applies the new strategies they have learned in real life. I use science- and evidence-backed tools and techniques that my clients can use for the rest of their lives. I provide support, accountability, and course-corrections as the client sees fit.

Growth

The clients has integrated their learnings into their habits, thought patterns and beliefs. As progress becomes consistent, the client strengthens their new identity, skills, and mindset. The coaching process shifts from building/creating change to sustaining it. Again I use science- and evidence-backed techniques that help my clients to sustain the change they have created once our coaching relationship concludes.

Completion or Evolution

The coaching journey either concludes with a sense of achievement and the client is happy that they have achieved what they set out to at the beginning or the process evolves, setting new goals or moving into maintenance-style check-ins, if the client feels they need follow up support.
